Welcome to my web site. Please email if you would like to visit my studio. Lately I have been working locally at sites along the Eno River, and at Jordan Lake. The last few years I have visited and painted in many of Virginia’s state parks as well as the Blue Ridge, the Shenandoah, and the eastern shore of Maryland, meeting points between my home and that of my plein air painting sister Leslie (Deede) Miller from Annapolis. In July 2009 I painted in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin, a peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, as part of the Plein Air Festival (invitational) there.

My studio in downtown Hillsborough is open for the “Last Fridays” arts celebration on the last Friday of each month, April through September, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Some of my paintings can be found in galleries and juried exhibitions. In North Carolina, I am represented by Somerhill Gallery of Durham, Churton Street Gallery of Hillsborough, and Hampton House Gallery of Winston-Salem, and I am a juried member of Winston-Salem’s Associated Artists, and belong to the Visual Art Exchange of Raleigh and the Orange County Artists Guild.

I teach private art lessons in my studio and occasional local plein air workshops.
